The ECLDN began it's program in 2003.  Some of the now 25+ graduates of the three year program are now furthering their studies, others are serving local churches as staff persons, and still others are being equipped to be volunteer leaders in their local settings.  Each are serving with a renewed sense of calling and focus.

OUR CORE VALUES:

Missional:

An intentional bias of our program is our conviction that every Christian leader is called to be a part of God's mission of grace, and has a calling to develop their leadership skills as much as they can so that they can use their gifts to partner with God in reconciling the world to himself through his son Jesus Christ.

Congregational Based:

Our learning model is based on a belief that the most effective learning center for emerging church leaders is the local church, with ‘just in time’ learning that is intimately connected to hands on, practical ministry in their local setting.

Mentor Focused:

The greatest learning experiences for the participants will be in reviewing, discussing, and critiquing ministry and learning experiences with a personal, trained mentor who will be available to provide ongoing feedback, accountability and encouragement.

Growing the Whole Person:

The ECLDN program will emphasize a balanced development of the emerging leader including issues of character (heart), Bible and theological knowledge (head) and ministry skills (hands).
